In the French Alps as a result of avalanches, according to updated figures, two people were killed – 14-year-old schoolgirl French and Ukrainian tourists.
The incident occurred in the ski resort Legendre Deux Alpes in the department of Isère. According to local media, the avalanche came nine students from Lyon and their teacher.
Five of them rescuers continue to search. Three survivors were in serious condition.
Witnesses avalanche told local radio that, in their opinion, avalanche was caused by skiers, riding the mountain.
Now, as the correspondent Bi-bi-si, in the French Alps has dropped a lot of snow, and as a result of avalanches in the region after the new year has already killed four people – two citizens of Lithuania, one Spaniard and one Czech.
