The Turkish President has spoken out in favor of Nazi Germany when he spoke about a unitary state, said the administration of Tayyip Erdogan, according to AP.
Earlier on Friday, January 1, Erdogan led Germany the reign of Adolf Hitler as an example of a unitary state with a presidential form of government.
In a statement, the administration of the Turkish President stressed that Erdogan believes the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and Islamophobia crimes against humanity, and it is far from being able to lead Nazi Germany as a positive example.
Speaking to reporters, Erdogan brought the reign of Hitler as a negative example to show that poor management can occur in any political system, says the administration Erdogna.
“And in the parliamentary and presidential systems, bad laws, which end in disaster may occur if the system operated correctly, as it was in Nazi Germany. To interpret the statement of the President as a positive review about Hitler’s Germany is unacceptable, “- said in a statement.
Erdogan led by Justice and Development Party was in favor of Turkey constitutional reform, under which the parliamentary system of government would change to Presidential. In November, Erdogan had stated about the upcoming constitutional reform. Changes in the basic law has been one of the main slogans of the past in Turkey, in early November parliamentary elections.
