MOSCOW, December 20 – RIA Novosti. Two children and a pregnant woman injured in a gas explosion in high-rise residential building in Volgograd, the director of the Department of Public Health and Communications Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Oleg Salagaev.

“At the present time in hospitals Volgograd are 11 injured in gas explosion. Among them – two children and one pregnant woman. Condition of three injured is serious, others – as a moderate,” – noted Salagaev.

Gas explosion occurred around 11:50 MSK Sunday on the seventh floor of an apartment house on the street of Cosmonauts. As a result of the explosion, according to the MOE, the house collapsed ceiling from the ninth to the first floor. According to preliminary data, bring down the stairwell lived about 150 people.

According to the source RIA Novosti, the fate of the four residents is still unknown. The regional health authorities said the three victims, placed in intensive care.
