Parliament approved a law made by Poroshenko on admission of foreign military in the Ukraine – BBC

The Ukrainian parliament has approved a law allowing the admission of units foreign armed forces on the territory of Ukraine in 2016 to participate in the exercise, according to «112 Ukraine» .

It is noted that such a decision at a meeting supported by 239 deputies with the required minimum of 226 votes . The draft law was submitted to the parliament the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

In the explanatory memorandum states that the admission of military units of other states will be carried out on the basis of approval by the Parliament of Ukraine adopted by the President of Ukraine decisions on the admission of units of foreign military forces in Ukraine.

Previous was reported that the Ukrainian authorities intend to increase spending on the development of weapons and military equipment to 21% of the defense budget in 2016.
