MOSCOW, January 11 – RIA Novosti. The new bridge Trans Canada highway cracked from the cold in the province of Ontario, vehicular traffic between the western and eastern parts of the country has been interrupted, said on Sunday television CBC.
Bridge over the River Nipigon was closed “indefinitely due to a technical malfunction”.
Because of the broken bridge, 100 kilometers from the city of Thunder Bay, police blocked traffic on the 11 th and 17th highway.
When the movement will be resumed, is not specified. According to police, it could take “days”.
