Istanbul authorities establish the cause of the explosion at the metro station – BBC Russian

In the transition of the Istanbul metro exploded an improvised explosive device, said the head of the district administration Bayrampaşa, located in the European part of Istanbul.

Attila Aydiner told a local television station, resulting thundered in the evening rush-hour explosion injured five people.

Meanwhile, the governor of Istanbul said the agency Anadolu, that the cause of the explosion is established, reports the BBC’s Mark Lowen BBC. According to the governor, as a result of the incident one person was injured – he was slightly injured.

It was reported earlier that the movement of trains in the subway of Istanbul stopped because of an explosion at the station “Bayrampaşa.” Turkish Haberturk TV channel reported that the station is probably a transformer explosion. Another Turkish broadcaster – TV channel NTV – reported that the transition could explode the bomb.
