Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the first line of energy bridge from the Krasnodar Territory in the Crimea, according to television channel “Russia 24″. The event was held in the building of “Krymenergo”, where the airport in Simferopol, the head of state arrived on Wednesday evening.

At the same time the first 100 MW, he said, will be filed today in the eastern part of the Crimea – Kerch, Feodosia and 180 settlements. The second part of the electricity will be filed in the coming days in the rest of the field.

The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov, in turn, said that the first 200 MW are to be distributed among all municipalities equally.

The Russian president said that the Crimea in the period from 15 to 20 December will start getting 200 MW, and in the beginning of the summer season – another 400 MW. The President also instructed in 2017 to achieve the production of electricity directly on the peninsula.

The maximum power consumption of the peninsula up to the power outage from Ukraine is 1200 MW per day. At the same time, as reported by the deputy director general “Krymenergo” Andrei Anokhin, the total load on the peninsula is 418 MW. Thus, the summer is planned to cover the required maximum power consumption.
