Repairmen returned light to the west of the Crimea after a major accident – RBC

According to the agency” Kryminform “referring to the headquarters for liquidation of emergency power supply returned to Evpatoria, Saki, Black Sea and Pervomaisky areas. Still no light in Krasnogvardeysky, Dzhankoy and Krasnoperekopsk areas in the north of the country.

According to staff, the cause of the accident was an accident at the substation “Titan” in the Crimea, where the burned loopback cable line.

Fuel and Energy Minister of the Crimea Svetlana Borodulin explained that a large number of areas disabled because this whole area served by a high-voltage line.

From November 22 about 1.9 million inhabitants of Crimea were left without electricity due to the fact that power transmission pylons in the Kherson region, leading to the Crimea, have been undermined. The current agreement with Kiev is valid until the end of the year.
