SC does not support the discovery of the body of the miner on the cut in Kuzbass – RIA Novosti

NOVOSIBIRSK, December 9 – RIA Novosti. Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for Kemerovo region does not confirm appeared earlier media reports about the discovery of the body of one of the drivers of the excavator, after the collapse in the coal mine “Chernigovets.”

In the Kemerovo area the night of 9 December, the coal mine “Chernigovets” as a result of the collapse of the rock mass was covered with two excavators and one bulldozer to find in them the driver. All under the rubble were three human. Regional search and rescue headquarters headed by Governor Aman Tuleyev.

“At present, search and rescue work continues. We have information about the discovery of the body of the deceased miners there. We do not confirm,” – said the representative of the Investigation Department RF IC for the region Hope Ananiev.

She said that in fact the landslide at the coal mine is conducted investigation verification.

“Chernigovets” is part of the company “SDS-Ugol” (one of the largest players in the Russian coal industry) and developing deposits in the north of the Kemerovo region.
