Dissident summoned to court because of child pornography – Utro.Ru

Crown Prosecution Service to present a 72-year-old Bukovsky charged with five counts, according to The Guardian. He is accused of not only keeping frank pornographic materials, but also their production. Also suspect found one picture of prohibited content. According to investigators, all the pictures were made before 28 October 2014.

Chief Prosecutor for the East of England Jenny Hopkins said that prosecutors felt that the public interest will attract Bukovsky accountable. Hopkins recalled the suspect’s right to a fair trial. In this regard, she warned that unacceptable publication or comments that could potentially affect the outcome of the proceedings.

According to the Russian service of “Bi-bi-si,” Bukovsky already receiving paper the prosecutor’s office, denies all charges.

“I categorically deny the production of obscene or illegal photos or videos of faked children. In fact, I have had no contact with any children at all during many years “- quoted by the British agency statement Bukovsky.

” These shocking accusations caught me during a serious illness, and the chances of cure me completely uncertain. However, I intend to all the energy to defend itself against all the accusations brought against me “- said the writer.

Currently Bukovsky lives in Cambridge, so it Cambridgeshire police are investigating. It is reported that the writer must be brought in the case before the world court on May 5.

Vladimir Bukovsky is one of the founders of the dissident movement in the USSR. In Soviet times, spent more than 10 years in prison and compulsory treatment. In 1976, the Soviet government to exchange it for the leader of the Chilean Communists, Luis Corvalan.

In 2004, together with Boris Nemtsov, Garry Kasparov and other opposition leaders, he established the “Committee-2008″. In 2007, Bukovsky was planning to run for president of Russia, but the Central Election Commission rejected his application.
