So-called third Yukos case, involving former top managers of the company, suspended, told “Interfax” a source. Defendants in the “third case of Yukos” were Bruce Misamore, Steven Theede, Timothy Osborn and David Godfrey. The interviewee noted that the investigation of the criminal case was suspended for failure to bring former top managers criminally liable. He said that the decision was made on the grounds that the Russian side’s repeated requests for the extradition of the defendants rejected the authorities of countries where they live.

The source reminded that a criminal case had been allocated from the “big Yukos affair” in 2006. Former managers of the oil company was charged in absentia with the legalization of more than $ 10 billion stolen, according to the investigation, until 2005. Former Yukos managers have stated that the charges against them are false.
