The opposition party “Center” won the elections in Finland – RBC

As a result of counting 99.9% of the votes in the parliamentary elections in Finland wins opposition party “Center”, reports Yle. Parliamentarians will have 49 seats (21%). In second place is the party “True Finns” – 38 seats (for it voted 17% of voters).

The third place was taken by the National Coalition Party, headed by current Prime Minister Alexander Stubb – this party will be represented in the 37 parliament deputies. Fourth place went to the Social Democrats gained 34 seats in parliament.

Among the politicians entered the parliament two speak Russian. It’s about Mary Guzeninoy of the Social Democratic Party of Finland and Kae Myukkyanene of the Coalition Party.

Earlier Stubb admitted that his party (National Coalition Party) lost. “Apparently,” Center “won. Congratulations, “- he said.

After the elections,” the Center “will have to form a coalition with other parties. The readiness to enter into a coalition officials said the party “True Finns”. This party was in favor of reducing the dependence on the EU, as well as against the allocation of additional financial aid to Greece.

The leader of the “Center” is Juha Sipilä, who made his fortune in the IT-business. The leader of the party before the election said that majority of Finns oppose joining NATO and for the preservation of the neutral status of Finland. In this issue Sipilä at odds with the current Prime Minister Stubb, who lobbied for the introduction of Finland into NATO, pointing, including on the Russian threat.
