CEC: voter turnout in the presidential elections in Kazakhstan reached 95.11% – BBC

The turnout for early presidential elections in Kazakhstan amounted to 95.11%. It is reported by RIA “Novosti» with reference to the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission Vladimir Foos.

At 21.00 local time (18.00 MSK) in Kazakhstan closed all polling stations.

In the elections are three candidates – incumbent President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Secretary of the Communist People’s Party Turgun Syzdykov and chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Abelgazi Kusainov.
