The column of bikers club “Night Wolves”, which was going to arrange for the Victory Day motocross from Moscow to Berlin, was not allowed into the territory of Poland. “Interfax” said the head of the column Andrew Bobrowski. Before he reported that bikers staged a hard inspection at the Belarusian-Polish border and “cross-examination” individually.
Motocross Moscow – Berlin planned for the period from 25 April to 9 May. Its members were going to travel to Belarus, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Head of the club Zaldostanov Alexander said that in the campaign will involve 15 people.
On Saturday, Russian bikers from the club “Night Wolves”, despite the refusal of entry to Poland, went to motocross Moscow – Berlin. Dedicated to the Victory Day motocross was scheduled from April 25 to May 9, his route was to run through Belarus, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia. According to the club’s president Alexander Zaldostanova, in this action plan to participate 15 bikers.
Last week, Warsaw officially notified the Russian Embassy that motocross on Polish territory will not be allowed. According to the press secretary of the Russian embassy Valerie Perzhinskoy, in a note to the Foreign Ministry stated that the information about the visit and its organization was passed too late. The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed outrage at this refusal and assured that all the information was transferred to the Polish side in a timely manner.
The German security officials said that the bikers will not get permission for May 9 in Berlin motocross to Treptow Park, which houses the memorial to Soviet soldiers. In Berlin police had not received the request for shares in the capital. But even if in the coming days, the application shall be filed, the organizers will get a negative response. Berlin also promised to revoke visas to those who received them by providing false information.
